Invitation to 2007 “BEAUTIFUL FLEA MARKET”

The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) invites foreign residents in Seoul to the “Beautiful Flea Market” at the Tookseum along the Han River.

The “Beautiful Flea Market”, started in 2003 by the Beautiful Store, has been a place where citizens sell their used goods, donate some of their earnings to help our neighbors in need.  Keenly interested in its principle of “Sharing and Circulation”, the “Beautiful Flea Market” has been working on a broad range of issues, including this year’s one; helping the children around the world.  It is open to every community members – children, family, school, corporation, organization and everyone!

Program

• 11:30       Arrive at the Tookseom Resort (exit no.2, Tookseom Resort station, Line No.7)
• 11:30 – 12:30      Identification Check and Item Check (up to 80 items)
• 12:30 – 16:00      Flea Market with various events and performances
• 15:30 – 16:00      Closing

- Participants are recommended to make a reservation at least no later than Jun 22 as the place is open to the limited number of people.

- Please be aware that there are certain items prohibited in the market; new products, high-value items, animals and plants, food and beverage, stocked goods, homemade handicraft, medicines, adult products, illegal copies of  CDs/DVDs and explosives and other dangerous items.

- Please bring your ID(passport or alien registration card) and your own mat.
